NIC Unveils Centre of Excellence Officially in Bangkok, Thailand

Nippon Instruments Corporation (NIC) celebrated the official opening of its Centre of Excellence in Bangkok, Thailand, on 26th January, in partnership with Thai distributor, Coax Group Corporation.

The ceremony was attended by NIC representatives, including Mr. Alvin Chua, General Manager of the International Sales Division of NIC, Mr. Yasuda, General Manager of NIC, and Mr. Hamanaka, President of NIC. The event was warmly welcomed by Mr. Pongsathorn, Chairman of Coax, and his team.

The day started with introduction of Coax Group Company by Mr. Worapong, Managing Director of Coax Group, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the Hg CENIC (Centre of Excellence of Nippon Instruments Corporation), which has been in use since 2021. The situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic has improved, making it the perfect opportunity for an official opening.

During the event, Mr. Pongsathorn presented tokens of appreciation to Mr. Hamanaka and Mr. Yasuda for the strategic alliance between NIC and Coax Group and celebrated the continuous collaboration between the two companies in his speech.

Mr. Worapong then provided a tour of the company’s facilities, showcasing their technical competence and laboratories.

Coax Group is known for investing in the technical competence of its employees and providing regular technical training at the principal’s factory. The company also has a team of competent and technical service engineers to serve users in Thailand, resulting in a customer satisfaction rate of over 90% in 2022.

The day’s proceedings continued with presentations on sales and service strategies by Mr. Kitichai from the Mercury Instrument Division, and Ms. Phongpan, Division Manager of the Environmental & Petroleum Division to NIC delegates. The event concluded with a review of digital marketing and gratitude remarks from NIC to Coax.
