Discrete-Direct Purge Technique Overcomes Mercury Memory Effect

In this DDP technique, RA-7000A handles each sample in a Discrete, independent sample tube. Each sample is therefore isolated from surface contact with any other samples in the analytical batch to be measured.

The Direct-Purge technique is then used to extract and transfer the converted Hg0 from each sample tube and into the detector for measurement. Since only mercury vapor contacts the flow path, sample-to-sample memory effects and carryover from over-range samples are virtually eliminated.

With the new generation of RA-7000A with SANPRA™, user can create any configurations they need.

Start with the basic –

Flexible as you want it to be

Start using RA-7000A with a basic reducing vaporization/Impinger Unit, RH Gas Module or a SANPRA of your choice. Scale up or upgrade only when you need to.

Use RA-7 with 1 unit of SANPRATM and upscale it when necessary

Use with a RH Gas Module to start analyzing Gaseous Elemental Mercury trapped using Mercury Collector Tube.
Start using RA-7 with a basic impinger unit (5/20/100/250mL)

Productivity of up to 240 samples per batch

Choose up to 3 SANPRA at the same time.

RA-7000A can be configured with up to 3 untis of SANPRA™ at the same time. E.g., getting 3 units of SANPRA™ 3 (80 positions) allows user to load up to 240 samples, enhancing laboratory’s productivity.

Mixed combination of SANPRA™ can be configured too.
